What to ExpectThis 5 week program provides learners a gentle ease into Kindergarten by supporting transitioning, regulation, and relationship before structured learning begins. This creates the foundation for success for each and every learner as they enter this new phase of learning.
❋ Regulation FirstMeaning, before we ask children to learn, we help them feel safe in their environment. From there, growth happens naturally.
❋ Collaborative EnergyConnection is a core part of the process. Learners are able to facilitate relationships with their teachers and peers through collaborative play- in a space where curiosity is encouraged.
❋ Intentional Learning + IndependenceLearning is focused on social and emotional structures, play, and activities that increase hand-strength and coordination- no pencils during the summer program, just foundation. Providing support where it’s needed, but encouraging independence where it’s possible.
❋ A Supportive SpaceFeelings aren’t negated here. Conflict is moved through- learning skills to say how we are feeling, listen to our friends, and repair conflict in all the small moments so it feels easier when they are big.
